Are you licensed and accredited?
Happy Hollow is a State of Wisconsin licensed, inspected, and regulated group daycare facility.
Is your staff trained in early childcare development?

Happy Hollow teachers are required at minimum to successfully complete the State of Wisconsin requirements of two 45-hour early childhood classes.

If the teacher is working with infants and toddlers, he/she must also pass an additional 15-hour class.

In addition, all full-time teachers take an additional 25 hours of continuing education.

Additionally, most of our current staff all have degrees in child education and development.

Are your teachers trained in first aid, CPR, and AED?

All Happy Hollow employees are trained in first aid, CPR, AED, SIDS, and shaken baby syndrome.

What are your hours of operation?

We operate from 5:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Children can be dropped off and picked up anytime during our hours of operation.

Which holidays are you closed?
What ages does Happy Hollow care for?
We accept children from age 6 weeks to 13 years.
I do not require full time care. Do you offer less than full time alternatives?
We gladly accommodate part-time schedules with some restrictions. Please contact the Center Director for details.
What meals do you provide?
During the public school year, Happy Hollow provides a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and three snacks year-round. Lunches and snacks meet the State of Wisconsin's requirements for a balanced meal. During summer, parents provide a packed lunch. Happy Hollow provides all breakfast and snacks.
Do you have safety plans in place in case of emergencies?
We have complete emergency plans and practice fire and tornado drills with the children each and every month.
How diverse is the environment?
Happy Hollow prides itself on the diversity of the community we serve. Our participants come from a wide variety of multi-cultural and family diverse backgrounds. We integrate diversity into our curriculum by exploring and celebrating cultural differences.
Do you offer transportation?
Transportation is provided by the public school system to and from area public schools. Happy Hollow contracts buses for field trips and planned activities.
Do you have an outdoor playground?

We have a very large, fenced, and gated outdoor playground with age-appropriate equipment and outdoor toys.

We have two playgrounds for ages 2 and under. And one large playground for ages 3 and up. 

I am expecting. How do I reserve a spot for my new baby?
Call us to inquire about availability for when you expect to need care. Complete a registration form and pay the required one-time family registration fee to reserve a spot.

As with any daycare or learning center, availability is limited. Children "come and grow", so every year we have new openings. Call us to find out how many.

Schedule A Tour

Peace Of Mind

We'll work with you to meet your scheduling needs. You can go about your day at ease, knowing your littles are being taken care of, not just looked after.

Our Curriculum

Infant

Early brain development will be maximized through bonding, bonding, nurturing care, interaction, and individual schedules.

Toddler

Little muscles and minds grow in confidence, independence, individuality, developing language, gross motor skills, and exploration through new experiences.

Preschool

Learning through socialization, group play, independence, math & science, exploration & hands-on learning, music & cultural diversity, physical play

School Age

Through fun, age-appropriate activities, your child will enhance his/her self-confidence, social interaction, problem-solving, scientific thinking, and creative crafts.

Summer Classes

We have a very exciting summer program, featuring weekly field trips, playground fun, water days, cooking activities, group games, and “Projects of the day”
